202-301-2731 Scam Indian guy saying he was from the Federal Treasury and I was to receive a grant 9,000 dollars all he needed was my account information. Johny JOCHY JOHN ANDERSON was his name. I don't believe him.
Got the same call, woman with strong Indian type accent, same spiel as the others, but offered to transfer the 9K to my checking or savings or a credit card. .I just had to give her the numbers. I knew this was a scam. Told her I didn't want her charging up my cards or draining my bank account. Wasn't interested she hung up on me. Said she was calling from WA DC with the US Govt Grants Dept. ,but the money would come from a NY number. Maybe I should have gotten the call back numbers she was so eager to give.
