I had the same call today. The guy had a major accent and couldn't understand him. I don't know how he got my cell number as only my immediate family members have my number. I always use my house phone number when filling out information.
I just got the same call from (202) 456-7890. Same line, same scam. $9,000 for free! Said his name was Joseph McAllen. As I pressed him further about which dept. etc., we were suddenly cut off. Surprise.
