I received a call from this number telling me that I had been chosen to receive a Grant from the US Government for 9000.00
All I needed to provide them was personal banking info and they would quickly route the $ to my acct.
When I informed him that phishing was a scam and illegal, he became belligerent and a F word laden confrontation (on both ends) ensued.
Scam don't fall for it.. they almost got me cause I am seeking financial aid and grants for school but I'm not a fool I always do my research first. And thanks to these comments I got exactly what I was looking for
got the scam call about an hour ago from a woman with a foreign accent claiming to be calling from WASH DC about a $9000 grant, I hung up. the call was to my cell phone, how did they get that since I don't ever give it out to anyone but personal friends/family.
