I too have been getting these calls for weeks every morning around 8am. They don't leave a message and I have never tried calling back. This is on my landline. But... the name on caller ID is Wm Malone not octothorpe.
got a call from them, same number, and they asked to verify the business info for the yellow pages. then asked for my name. i refused to give it and while i was telling them i wouldn't give it, they hung up on me.
Called for the third time in 2 days. They tell me I have $8000 in unsecured debt (I don't). When I ask for details, they ignore me and go on with their spiel. I then hang up on them. Caller each time has an Indian accent.
