They have my direct phone number at work and call multiple times daily. I have answered the call many times and no one will speak. I have decided to answer each time they call and just immediately place the call on hold. It's amazing how much quicker they hang up when they get put on hold! It's annoying but I can't register the business number on the Do Not Call Registry list so it's what I have to do in order to keep smiling through the frustration. Jerks! :-O
These guys have no clue. They have called and continuously harrassed me to speak to Richard. There is no Richard, nor has there ever been at my number. They ask if I know him... the answer is always and will always be no! I ask to be switched to a supervisor that can adjust their records (one who hopefully speaks AND understands the English language) and have been redirected to a never ending ringing extension, or they have attempted to give me a phone number to call. I AM NOT CALLING THEM, THEY ARE CALLING ME! YOU take ME off, don't expect ME to call YOU. NO help... they're obviously a debt collection company, you would think they'd want to know they're calling a bad number... but they don't.
You will have to call, no way around it. Call the number back, press 2 (you should get an good english speaking person) ask for a supervisor and have them remove it. It probably helped my situation that mine is a municipal government work phone, and I told them if they didn't rectify the situation I would turn it over the City Attourney, and I would have. I hope when they find the Jeff Johnson guy they are looking for they hang him by his nuts for giving out a bogus # or not paying his bills
