They have my direct phone number at work and call multiple times daily. I have answered the call many times and no one will speak. I have decided to answer each time they call and just immediately place the call on hold. It's amazing how much quicker they hang up when they get put on hold! It's annoying but I can't register the business number on the Do Not Call Registry list so it's what I have to do in order to keep smiling through the frustration. Jerks! :-O
Called twice. Once from this # and from another very similar except the last digit was a 6 instead of 4. Thanks for the posts everyone. I'll know not to answer. Peace!
I've received about seven calls from 202-607-2744 in the last two weeks. Today, I happened to come home from lunch and was here when they called. I got an automated answer asking me to call a certain phone number. Instead, I called 202-607-2744. Press "2" to speak to someone. A woman came on, very friendly, and I told her about receiving messages. She asked for my phone number and looked it up. She asked if Sharon Harper lived here. I've had this phone number for two years and cannot tell you how many telemarketers/debt collectors have called looking for this woman. I explained that to the woman on the phone and she was very curtious and said that she would remove my phone number from their listings, that it would take 24 hours, and apologized for the disturbance. Very cordial. Sometimes, folks, you get treated the same as you're treating them.
