I received this same call stating I had won $9000 from the government. Do not agree to the arrangement they offer of depositing $250 in order to verify your identity haha. It is a huge scam people. Hang up the phone and don't give your information to them. While I'm here I may as well inform you of another scam that I believe are from the same people. They call claiming to be from either Dell or Windows Security about your home computer. They claim that you are having a security problem and that they received a report. Do not give them any information! They want to access your computer to obtain your personal information. DO NOT allow them to install or update anything on your computer (they will try through remote access or by email). Hang up the phone and block their number. You're welcome.
It IS a Scam. A very well known scam. A scam that is being done by frauds in India. Which you are perfectly well aware of, because you are one of those frauds sitting in India.
Skeff Ett Liv!
Gunnar
P.S. I love your alias! An Indian fraud going by the name "keith fernandez"! Only a "sub-continental" scammer could come up with something like that!
