For the past few days I've been getting phone calls from this number, and I would reject them.today I answered and a machine said all circuits are busy and hung up. How do they get our numbers??
Been ignoring numerous calls from thus number so I finally answered one today. The man with a very heavy accent said he was calling from the US Government and the Treasury Depot and that I had been chosen to receive a grant. And all I have to do is to use the money for a good cause like, pay bills, start a business, buy a car, etc. He then told me my name, address and phone number, which I'm uncomfortable that he would have all that info. He said I need to give him a card # to deposit the money on, so I told him that they warn us about these scams. He then told me that he wasn't asking for a debit or credit card, that I could get a re loadable gift card with nothing on it and give him that number and they could deposit funds to that and that he will call me Monday so I have time to buy a gift card. Of course I know this is a scam!
same thing here and the guy was an idiot and said he was from the US treasury and I told him they don't call people randomly so he was an idiot. I am so sick of this crap and I'm on a no call list right! how's that working
