I have rec'd a call from both of the following #'s minutes apart stating that the IRS has filed a lawsuit against me and issued an arrest warrant. This is a Scam. The #'s I rec'd calls from are 202-751-2543 and 206-204-4989
Got call from 202-751-2543 with a recorded message, saying that attorney general's office has filed a criminal lawsuit against me on behalf of the IRS, and that I should call them back at the same number to settle the matter. The scammers are getting smarter using a recorded voice without an accent.
IRS TAX SCAM: received a call and a message was left stating there has been a lawsuit filed and an arrest warrant issued against me. They make reference to the IRS and the Attorney General.
I got a call from 646 257 3505 - also a scam company. They left a female American voice message saying they were from the Attorney Generals office, a warrant for my arrest by IRS and to call the 202 751 2543 number immediately. The IRS do not inform by phone so watch out, out there. My friend fell for this one to the tune of $5500 to get out of the supposed warrant!
