Who called from 2028034318

Got call from recording saying IRS has lawsuit against me and I should call them back at 202-803-4318.  This # was on caller ID as WASHINGTON DC.  Clearly a scam.  I filed complaints with FTC and IRS, and notified my local police.

i got called from this number too. several times. 1st time i didn't think alot..assumed it was a scam because they said final notice...i never got noticed before or mailed a letter... but second time calling.. got me worried maybe not a scam. he told me police was going to arrest me in an hour if i didn't choose to pay.. or  i had to settle in court. i have my taxes done professionally. i gave no info.. just said settle in court.  meanwhile i was about to have a heart attach worried about something my smart son got on computer and discovered this number was a scam number and not irs. i was so thankful my son knew what to do and check. people like this need to be behind bars. someday they will face God...

ThIs is a scam. The IRS only communicates by certified U.S. Mail.  And, if they call you, which is rare.  The telephone number is traçable to the IRS.

Left message saying there was lawsuit filed against me by IRS

Message stated that I was involved in a law suit with the IRS and to call 1-202-803-4318.  I called numerous times and it seems to be a scam??
