Got call from recording saying IRS has lawsuit against me and I should call them back at 202-803-4318. This # was on caller ID as WASHINGTON DC. Clearly a scam. I filed complaints with FTC and IRS, and notified my local police.
Just got this call. It went to my v-mail. An automated voice left a message sayings IRS is suing me. As a single mom living right above the poverty line I knew I owed uncertain Sam $0. And I knew I'm not important enough nor impressive enough to get a call from IRS! Puhhhlllease! So I Googled the number and thank you very much kind folks for confirming my suspicions. I will sleep soundly tonight after praying for the wrath of God to fall onto these ball-less scammers.
I got the same call. Called back and talked to this yahoo with again a heavy accent. Wanted me to verify my phone# and name. Told him he called me so he should have all that already. Result+DialTone HAHAHA
I received one voicemail from this, same as everyone else but the beginning of the message was cut off so I didn't know what they were on about. I read these reviews and blocked the phone number. If the real IRS wants to get hold of me they do so more clearly than this.
