We have been getting this too, It clearly spells out a miss spelled I.D...just be careful people, if they cant spell correctly it is obviously a scammer.
Caller ID was the phone number. Caller said he was from "Veterans Assistance" and it was a fundraiser. When I told him we couldn't afford donating, he kept on going. I hung up on him.
I received a call from them last week. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I googled the number and have read some of the complaints.
They called again about 15 minutes ago and this time I answered. The man on the other end claimed that the conversation was being recorded for training purposes. He gave me a little spiel about veterans and then asked me if I wanted to make a contribution. I said 'No' and he said 'Have a nice day'.
