This number called saying something about being from the national Treasury, if I don't comply I'll face "serious" legal trouble. Who the hell do they think they are? Number just says "Washington DC." Can't call it back.
Same IRS scam. Going to call them back and tell them: Good, I'm ready for the state to take care of me -- 3 meals a day and a dry bed with no bills!! Do they need directions to come get me?

Just got a call from this number. Didn't pick up, as I don't know anyone from Washington, DC, which it rung as. Glad I checked this site; now I can safely delete their voicemail without having a minor panic attack when i check them later, like I did the first time I got one of these messages. These is literally the fifth one, from various numbers I've gotten within the last 3 weeks. I wish they'd stop! Between them and multiple other scammers, its been over a month since I've gone more than I day without being woken up before my alarm by spam calls!
