I just received a phone call from 202-864-2535. Don't answer it. It's a scam big time. It's the same message about pay back taxes money you owe.They say they are from Washington DC, don't believe them.....

I just received the same call, but not from the #, I started a new thread with the # I was spammed from: 701-201-2256.
Listen carefully to the recording, it's been chopped and shopped, and very poorly at that. The end of the recording demands to " Call 202-864-1122 immediately", and thanks to 800notes and being a veteran of the endless spam calling, I arrived to this informative page.
Can 800notes please revise "call type" to include SPAM?
This was a robocall we let go to voicemail. A message was left but only the last part of the message was audible, and stated something like "call immediately to get the details of this case file."
They just left a message saying that the IRS had filed a lawsuit against me and I needed to call them back immediately. As I was calling them back I was also googling "IRS Scams" and began reading the information. They answered and asked for my phone number, I gave them that, then they had my last name and asked me for my first. I started reading to them the scam report I found online and they starting saying that they were the IRS and then the guy gave me some badge number. I told them that I was going to call the IRS on the 1800 number and I hung up. I called back and using a recording device recorded my telephone conversation, but this time I asked for the first name of the person they were looking for and they hung up on me. When I tried to call them back again. It only rang busy, or would hang up on me.
