I just received a phone call from 202-864-2535. Don't answer it. It's a scam big time. It's the same message about pay back taxes money you owe.They say they are from Washington DC, don't believe them.....
Got a call from 202-864-1122 today saying the IRS is filing a law suit against me and to send them $3000 NOW. I told them I'll wait until the IRS Agent is knocking at my door, hung up and blocked their number.
Same here I told them I needed something in writing and I would wait for it in the mail. He told me ok he was moving forward w the lawsuit and the police would be at my house soon to arrest me ! I hung up jerks
I appreciate all previous posters for taking the time to post your experience. I just got two calls, my caller ID showed one came in as I was listening to the first recording. Same recordings and the message start was the same as poster before have said. I did notice they said, "The IRS--Internal Revenue Services." Services, as in plural.
I hung up, of course.
