Got an automated voice saying IRS filing lawsuit against me. Asked to call back to 202-864-1142. Reported to FBI. Impersonating the IRS is a Federal Felony with up to 21 years in federal prison and a civil fine of up to $1.25 million
Same IRS threats as above, but I answered the call and put it on speakerphone for my wife to hear. The accent was foreign and we heard moslem prayer calls in the back and traffic noise. We feel this is some Islamic gang using an internet cafe to terrorize American taxpayers.
This phone tried to call me many times states that my TAX Return needs to be checked!
Obviously, I am not innocent to know that IRS never contact you directly via phone. If they need anything about your TAX Return, they contact you officially via mail to your home address. Furthermore, on my TAX forms did not have the phone number!
