Received a call from this number saying I was selected to receive a government grant. They asked me my name and where I lived and my age to confirm who they were speaking with and I gave them the wrong age and they said ok and proceeded to tell me that I needed to call a manager at a different number with a Tampa Fl area code so I could get the approved government grant I was selected for. I called the number and a man fumbled to answer the phone and asked what the nature of my call was. When I began to ask questions he became very rude. I hung up the phone without giving him any further information.
The only way to get a US government grant is to apply for one. And depending on the type of grant it can take just a few weeks or it can be a long drawn out process. No agency of the US government just hands out grants willy nilly.
The person that called from the number was very rude and nasty, left a message on voicemail "m.....f....."; what an idiot. Stupid imbeciles shouldn't communicate with people.
I got a call today from a guy with a heavy accent saying that I was awarded with a grant for $9200. This seemed very strange since I never applied for anything. I just decided to hung up because everything seemed very strange.
