Received several calls from (202) 124-2887 as well as (202) 124-2869 and (202) 993-8739. The first 2 calls from the "...2887# said "unknown" on caller ID. The 3rd call from same number said "Egypt". After blocking the number I immediately started getting calls from the ...2869 number, again said "unknown". After blocking that one, I started getting calls from (202) 993-8739 from "Washington DC". I don't answer unfamiliar calls and None of them left messages. They are relentless!!!
OMG! This woman called me at work from 202-993-8739. She told me she was from a govt. agency, saying I was selected from a Democratic survey for free grant money. She tried to confirm my address but had the wrong postal code. Repeatedly throughout her nonsense call she said "If you're not interested, it's your choice, we can end the call now." Until I asked, "Why do you keep saying that!?" She replied, "Because you are asking me a lot of questions like, How did I get your number and stuff." I said, "Yeah, you are too!". She called me a [***] and hung up in my face. Because she knows she was on some bogus bull crap! She couldn't even speak English well, attempting to use swear words. I asked her where her call center was. She lied about that too, stating she was in Washington DC.These people are liars. I wonder what she really wanted. What are these people gather info for...or Would she have me asked for money later in the call, as all scammers do! I made her accountable, and asked questions. She called me out of my name, because She was a scammer... guilty as sin. Shame on her. #Blocked!
