These scumbags are spoofing Caller ID, using a VOIP robo dial program.
Sometimes, the spoofed phone numbers are not valid.
Sometimes, the spoofed phone numbers are legitimate. When this happens, the real owners of the spoofed numbers become victimized by hundreds of angry people like us.
Being on the DNC list doesn't help.
Having an unlisted number doesn't help.
A computer is doing all of the work.
Please be careful here. You may have hit the nail on the head, but there are hundreds of James Jones in that area. And I cant find a connection with just about as many Candice Jones on Facebook. They probably have a llc in order to run credit card numbers though a merchant processor. Look for fictitious, yet registered llc name. That’s where to go hunting next, because cardholder was recently using the number of a 90 year old man, probably still is unaware they used/using his number.
This number called my cell phone which tells me that it was a robocall just dialing numbers in order. I don't give out my cell # to just anyone. I didn't answer and there was no message left.
