These scumbags are spoofing Caller ID, using a VOIP robo dial program.
Sometimes, the spoofed phone numbers are not valid.
Sometimes, the spoofed phone numbers are legitimate. When this happens, the real owners of the spoofed numbers become victimized by hundreds of angry people like us.
Being on the DNC list doesn't help.
Having an unlisted number doesn't help.
A computer is doing all of the work.
Received a call at 10:21 AM. I didn't answer, and no message was left. I've now blocked it after reading these comments.....as though that does any good, lol.
I have been getting calls from this number every single day for the past 2 weeks. This time i pushed through to speak to someone and ask them to please take me off of their call list. The lady that answered told me to go F*** Myself and hung up!! Please report this number so that they will stop calling people. Its a total scam!!!!!!
call came in, recorded message said "this is your credit card company wanting to offer me reduced rates" Press 1. I immediately hung up and blocked the call. Then googled the number to find out and report who it was. SPAM, SCAMMER!!! BEWARE!!!!
This number called me, strong middle eastern accent, asked me for my credit card expiration date, then the credit card number to "check my balance and interest rate". Of course I made one up while I was faking an orgasm, repeated the card number couple of times until he caught up to it... I told him to excuse me but that someone very big was giving it to me in the [***]! He immediately hung up!
