No it is not legal. Criminals prey on the desperate and guillible. Never ever provide personal information over the phone. All you are doing is giving criminals your checking and credit card accounts.
If you are in the DNC list, telemarketing calls are illegal. Be smart folks. Sounds too good to be true then....
Same-o, same-o credit card scam. The only thing that changes about these scammers is the phone number. Pressed one to talk to an agent, was put on hold as the countdown began. Agent answered and I gave her a really sweet BURRRRPPPPP. She hung up. Rude of that scammer!
