Got a call from these jokers tonight claiming we needed to stand in front of our computer and that we had reported a computer problem. My wife told them they were full of it and hung up. Somebody has to stop these jokers.
Same as above. I received a call this morning from a man (India) stating he was from Windows and that they were receiving messages regarding problems with my computer and he wanted me to turn it on so he could "fix" it. Told him I knew this was a scam and I would be reporting it and hung up on him.
Just got a call at work that actually didn't show up as this number when it rang in (206-397-1113) but this is what showed up when I looked back at my received calls. Anyway, the company name came up as Trikon. When the guy finally answered he said he was calling to follow up on my computer. I figured that since my employer is the only one who can do much of anything to my computer (I can't even update Adobe on my own!), it was highly unlikely that some third party had anything legiyt to say about it so I hung up. Steer clear!
