I hear you!! Just got our millionth call this month. When I press to speak to a rep, they hang up as soon as you tell them to take you off the list. How on earth do you stop jerks like this from harrassing you? We are on the NDNC list, but can't even complain if you don't know who is calling you!
someone called from here, and my mother actually pressed "1". (grr).
the person on the phone said "what do you want to do about your $5000 debt????" with a very stern voice. my mother replied "i don't have any debt." then the man said, "ok we'll clear your account".
what the H. i am filing fcc.gov for my mother. she is a senior and has been getting a lot of these calls lately.
I just pushed 1, after being told by a recording that my credit is being threatened. When a lady came on the line, I asked her about the meaning of this call, she asked me if I wanted a new credit card. When I said no, she hung up on me without even saying goodbye, or even a one word explanation about how my credit was being threatened.
