I hear you!! Just got our millionth call this month. When I press to speak to a rep, they hang up as soon as you tell them to take you off the list. How on earth do you stop jerks like this from harrassing you? We are on the NDNC list, but can't even complain if you don't know who is calling you!
Answered this message. Got automated msg about blah blah blah last chance to lower interest on debt, I pressed 1 speak to someone to tell them to stop calling.. some a**hole answered, I explained to him I wished to rcv no more calls and he hung up on me.
I called the number back and was then talking to an automated system again, and it said to be removed from the list to press 1 and it should take 24 hours. Which I did.
This is such total B.S that we get harassed like this over a service (telephone) we pay for to use to keep in contact with friends family and legit business communication. Wtf?
It's time to make ALL telemarketing ILLEGAL. It's nothing but f@#$%ng HARRASSMENT. The government, the phone companies and anyone involved is DOING NOTHING to fix this. I'm all for the death penalty for these J/Os! What if they call and tie up a phone during a medical emergency???!!!
As a longtime marketer of cosmetic products, I must apologize for my colleagues in the industry that would resort to cold calling on the telephone. Yes we are trained in telephone sales but we prefer the face-to-face sales meetings (LOL at my own joke...tehe). But seriously, I don't know why you would limit your attack to just we who sell rouge over the phone. I have known some pretty obnoxious people selling other cosmetics as well. So please next time think before you attack people just trying hard to put food on their families.
