I just got a call from these people telling me that I am getting a government grant and to go pick it up at Walmart. But first that want me to call 202 684 6332 for more instructions.
Received a call from a woman with a difficult to understand foreign accent who identified herself as "Amy" and went on to say I have been randomly chosen to receive a federal grant of $9000. I told her to stop calling my number and that I was going to report this phone number 206 708 2849 being used for scams.
was called from this number many times in the past few months by a man with a rather thick accent who says that "Windows" is getting error messages from my computer and that I must log on so that he can fix it....I know this is a scam so I just ask him "which computer?"...he gets agitated and keeps telling me to log on....this can go on for a while so eventually I just hang up on him...lol. Tried putting our number on the Do Not Call List but apparently it is not effective to stop these scammers
