I just got a call from these people telling me that I am getting a government grant and to go pick it up at Walmart. But first that want me to call 202 684 6332 for more instructions.
Received a call from this number from a man with a heavy Indian accent claiming to be from "Windows". Claimed they had a report of viruses and other problems from my computer. He wanted me to google www.teamviewer.com I told him it wasn't going to happen and hung up.
Caller id said Seattle Washington. .I have an old friend who is in Washington. Yes, I answered .Person on phone had foreign accent. Said calling from -Washington DC. I said" no you aren't. Person hung up.
I keep getting calls from this number several a day no one answers after a few seconds it hangs up. It has been going on since last week after I got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft telling me my computer had been hacked and she was going to help me down load some kind of software to "protect" me in the future she gave me a number to call back on when I did a man answered got ugly with my husband so he hung up not not sure if it has anything to do with that call but that is when it started.
caller said nothing.. There is a product called Plu N Block for land lines. their version 2 is best It can block robo calls, spam, spoof any annoying calls. It leans the real #'s or ones you enert andf even allows a new caller to dial o to get call put thru which negates robo calls Wish cell phones had an app thru server liken Verizon, ATT etc.
They will never read these comments, but at least some of us get to purge our anger by
calling them everything under the sun...over and over, if we wish to.....:-) I do the same!
