Same, reported. Robo-call saying to, "Regard this as a final notice" of my IRS debt and that the IRS would be pursuing a lawsuit against me if I didn't call back right away.
This number is always calling I never answer it figured if it was important they'd leave a message but never does its annoying...I got a cal from a 360 area code and it was an automated system saying it was the IRS and I needed to call this other number that there was a lawsuit filed against me n I needed to take care of it I never called that number back I knew it was a scam!
Claim to be an IRS agent and wants me to call them back...... Why do they think people would fall for this BS....
Go ahead put me in jail...LOL I wont live long enough anyway because I have cancer and its untreatable with 6 months to live..Then my wife of 30 years decides to leave me because she says she handle dealing with the cancer.. You would think she had it..I still haven't told my children because I don't want to burden them with it so I'm on my own.

Person called with strong Indian Accent and stated I owed money. When I told him the call was not coming from Washington DC, and IRS would be a 1-800 number he got rude and said if I hung up I would receive another call in 20-30 minutes. My partner works for the govt and any money owed to the IRS would come via mail not a phone call.
Received call at 6:30 am 4/7/2015 from 206-866-5656. Claiming to be IRS (heavy accent), claiming that I (as a single person) owed over $2800 in back taxes and that they had sent me three IRS 501 notices. I never received a form - asked for the form to be sent certified, return receipt requested; transferred to supervisor "Officer Chris Cooper". He restated the same scam and when I asked for certified, return receipt requested transmittal of the 501 form, said 'they don't work that way'. Told him I don't file as a single person and that I had read about the scam - phone went dead.
These scammers have the ability to manipulate their Caller ID to read ANY thing they want. After they called my landline twice today, I called the number from my cell and received that BEEP BEEP BEEP. It's not even a working number. They're NOT even in WA so don't waste your time. Get a new phone that lets you block the numbers. I did! It helps...because obviously we can't do anything about the calls. They're only getting worse! Don't let them get to you because these jerks do NOT know you. They're just calling numbers trying to scan anyone they can. Do NOT let them scam you!!!
