Same, reported. Robo-call saying to, "Regard this as a final notice" of my IRS debt and that the IRS would be pursuing a lawsuit against me if I didn't call back right away.
I just received a call from this number. No message left, unlike past calls where a phony "IRS is suing you" message is left.
It's worth noting that these are coming in to an unlisted business line. A month or so ago I received the first of these scam messages left by a "Steve Martin" (get it?!) but at that time I had a personalized greeting typical for business communication and I think that was what got me on the scam hot list. Needless to say I now rely only on the generic greeting that does not ID me nor the company I work for but it's probably too late. These off-shore crooks have me on their hit list. So there's nothing for me to do but block and ignore.
I have been receiving calls daily from 206-866-5656 - 503-765-7202 - 845-582-1410 - 99999992114 - 800-954-0244 all claiming to be from the IRS or Microsoft ............ telling I need to pay x amount of dollars or a warrant for my arrest will be sent to local police.
Caller from 206-866-5656 claimed to be from IRS. Clearly, he was not. I could barely understand him because of his thick foreign accent. He said I owed money. I told him I knew the call was a scam and hung up. He called back! I swore at him and told him not to call again and hung up. He called back again! I told him I would report the phone number to "authorities" and he hung up.
