Same, reported. Robo-call saying to, "Regard this as a final notice" of my IRS debt and that the IRS would be pursuing a lawsuit against me if I didn't call back right away.
I received a call today from 206-866-5656, when I answered they hung up on me. I received 2 automated messages a couple weeks ago stating that the IRS was suing me and this matched one of the numbers I was given to call back and get more info. Both calls were total scams. The IRS does not call you, they send you letters. Anyhoo, I called the number back after they hung up on me and I got a guy with a thick accent, maybe Indian or Middle Eastern, who said I had called the IRS/Treasury Department. I went off on him and asked if he was the same person who left me the scam messages a couple weeks ago, and sure enough he hung up on me. I really hope these people get caught, and soon!!

Yes. It's a scammer. They called me at 6:30am this morning claiming to be the IRS. When I told them the IRS' ways of doing things and that we know they're a scam, they hung up. They called from the same area code, same people as before (heavy Indian accents) earlier yesterday from 206-462-5425.
I contacted local authorities and reported the numbers to the IRS (Tigta.gov or irs.gov)...THE IRS NEVER CONTACTS YOU BY PHONE NOR THREATENS YOU. These people threatened to have me deported if I didn't respond. I told them to go f*ck themselves.

told me that I there was a miscalculation on my 2012 and 2013 FEDERAL TAXES and that I could be arrested and my license passport confiscated.
I need to go to OFFICE DEPOT TO get an electronic payment
of $1900.00 and WHILE HE IS ON MY PHONE MY PHONE
MUST NOT BE TURNED OFF.....I NEED TO DRIVE THERE AND PAY
AND COME BACK HOME WHILE HE IS ON THE PHONE
get the money pay him and tomorrow and IRS officer will come to my house
and give me all the paperwork that I require.'

I just received a call from this number and like other posts they said they were from the IRS and said they were auditing 2008-2013... I KEPT INSISTING MAIL me something... he got more frustrated and told me the police will come arrest me in 30 minutes! I finally hung up a little frazzled, but again reminded myself the IRS would communicate by mail.
someone needs to make this stop!
