Report them to FCC. Even if they were a legit debt collector there is a standard message that is required by ALL debt collectors before they even try to speak with you and these people obviously don't have that knowledge. They're probably sitting in a kitchen at home trying to con people with either older dead debts or none at all. KNOW THE LAW!!!
like wise for a debt, and do not even have the right person or house. We have had calls from several places w/just name of town and state. As it was for a "jr" and my husband is not a jr. It was a wrong number. Also I am listed for being responsible for all our bills. That tells me either way--SCAM CALL. I blocked them
I received a call this afternoon but did not answer it as I did not recognize the number. They left no message. Later I called the # back and "Karen" answered saying it was something like "Fire Board" or something like that. I said I didn't know them and hung up. Last week I received a robo call from possibly the same number and they said all of the above, unresolved debt, gave my name and #number for my account. Scam!!
I got a call from this number also. I didn't answer cause I don't answer numbers I don't recognize from my area code. I also have had numbers from different area codes with the same message on them when they leave voice messages. Never the same number. It's always the same thing " this message is solely for "my mom's name said wrong but also my cell phone except it is in her name" that has unsatisfied documents gives me a 1-800 number (haven't called it yet) and gives my a number for the documents. I always get this robot message, however it is a different number everytime. Been getting it since I got back from Dallas Market the last week of June. After discovering that this is a scam I will probably just blocked all of these calls. Course have to tell my mother about this too. Thanks for letting the world know what's happening.
