Report them to FCC. Even if they were a legit debt collector there is a standard message that is required by ALL debt collectors before they even try to speak with you and these people obviously don't have that knowledge. They're probably sitting in a kitchen at home trying to con people with either older dead debts or none at all. KNOW THE LAW!!!
Automated message on voicemail, said they have a negative account claim for my mother-in-law (who does not live here), if I want to find out more information about this complaint, call back 877-447-7372 or press (whatever #) to speak to an agent now. Left a complaint number and everything. Clearly this is a phishing scam.
SCAM SCAM SCAM. Never call them back and never give them information. Be alert and smart. They want your private information. Be smarter than they are.
tried calling to collect a debt I didn't have, threatened I would be going to court and stated have a good day with the judge if I didn't give them my credit card number.... total scam
