Who cares? I mean really? Who cares who it is. I don't know. You don't know. I'd say it's probably someone, from some part of the world trying to steal from you. Forget about it. Don't call it back.
I like to know who is calling me for two reasons. 1. I do have legitimate phone calls from different places in the country. One of them is my insurance company and they are constantly calling me! I want to know if it is them so that I can stop the calls. 2. I also want to give the "Do Not Call Registry Complaint" website all the information that I can. If and when they find a solution I want the government to have as much information as I and ever other concerned citizen can give them. Also if legit companies are giving out our information the government needs to track this down. I want to know who is calling me so that I can tell the government if this is a call targeting a certain group.
I agree about blocking phone calls from these people. I can only block 20 numbers but, even that has cut my number of robo calls down from four a day to less than two a week.
It's called me 4 times today. I have called it back every time. Bothering me at work? I have left 3 voicemails for them saying that what they were doing is illegal and if they called again I would, and will press charges. If whom ever is in charge of this number is reading this, you need to know I am a lawyer and I will take legal action. Shut your business down and discontinue the number if you do not want a lawsuit on your hands.
I wish you would do something to stop these people. They call my home 2-3 times a week. I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling. Last night when they called, I again asked them to please stop calling. The man said, "My dear, we are never going to stop calling you," and laughed and laughed. He then proceeded to mock me and harass me until I hung up the phone. I am 73 years old, I am hooked up to oxygen 24/7 and I feel like I am being terrorized in my own home. I guarantee that they are not afraid of you or worried that you are going to anything to them. The ID said it was "Global Help" and the phone number was (209) 217-3647 which is located in Stockton, CA. Good luck.
I also am a sr citizen being harassed by this number and I am on the so-called "do not call" list. how can we stop these vultures from bothering us at all hours of the day and night?
