Who cares? I mean really? Who cares who it is. I don't know. You don't know. I'd say it's probably someone, from some part of the world trying to steal from you. Forget about it. Don't call it back.
Dear Senior Citizen. I am 74 years old. I get these calls all the time. I bought myself a Panasonic phone set that allows me to block up to 250 unwanted phone numbers. When they call again, after I have blocked them, the phone rings once and stops. This has pretty much solved this problem. I still get these calls and sometimes answer them just to give "them" a bad time. I've had "them" get mad and hang up on me. Always a pleasure! I always block these new numbers right away. Perhaps you might ask a friend or family member to help you with a new phone that has call blocking. It know how upsetting it can be, but there are ways to help yourself. so you don't feel victimized. Good luck.
THIS IS A SCAMMER. They call you to let you know they have been receiving information that your computer has been infected and that you need to go to this specific website to download a file so they can connect to your computer. DO NOT DO THIS! This allows them to gain access to your computer and load on viruses and worms to lock you out of your computer until you give them your credit card information to fix it. Just tell them you know it is a scam and they will stop calling.

I get this call about every other month. I make them so mad at me that they hang up on me. They tell me all about how my computer is messing with their's and I act all concerned and when they tell me I need to go to their site. I ask them which computer is the problem? They tell me their from Microsoft and my computer is hacking them and that if I don't do what they say I may go to jail. I tell them how can that be because my computer is OFF and it's an APPLE PRODUCT and doesn't have windows. They hang up every time!!!!
