Kelly, please learn to read. If you had read even some of the other comments, you would have learned that the perverts call any number, any person, any time. The person who previously had your cell number probably gave it up because she DIDN'T use illegal drugs and she couldn't get the perverts to leave her alone.
If getting calls from these perverts means you're a druggie, what does that make you?
Apparently this is a "new" spoofed number from the perverts who push illegal drugs. I've been getting these calls for years and they refuse to take my number off their calling list, despite the fact that the person who they continually ask for doesn't live here -- and hasn't in the 20 years I've had my phone number.
I've stopped answering the phone or connect the call and then immediately disconnect. They never leave a message, but call, call, call.
I have complained to Verizon about the persistence of nuisance individuals calling both my land line and my cell phone #'s. They have being annoyingly persistent about wanting me to illegally purchase unsubscribed medication. They have falsely claiming that I previously purchased DEA controlled substances from them. Verizon told me that they had no control over this activity and that I should change my telephone #'s. That didn't do any good because the [***] seem to have a database that stores new telephone #'s. I have a local Doctor who prescribes medication that is appropriate for me to take, and I have a local Pharmacy that fills those medications. I am not such a fool that I would take medication that a person with an India accent calls me and offers to send me a DEA restricted medication from overseas. If I gave them my credit card #, they would probably steal me out of house and home. I would undoubtedly end up being the one who pays their grocery bills.
What I have discovered is that it is not worth wasting your breath by answering the phone and speaking with these people who intend to illicitly sell unsubscribed medication. They used to call my digits 12-18 times/day. I finally discovered that when I saw a # that I did not recognize on my caller ID,I quickly picked UP and HUNG UP. Apparently these people have computer-operated dialing machines, and if your phone doesn't respond within a few seconds of "ring time" then their computer automatically deletes your telephone number(s) from it's database. My advise to you is that you QUICKLY PICK-UP & HANG-UP. I now only receive a a call about 1X/week.
The perverts are back again. They call, call, call and then stop for a couple of weeks. I never change -- I connect the call and then immediately disconnect.
Obviously, they're too stupid to get the message. It doesn't matter how many times they call, I've never bought illegal drugs and I'm not starting now!
These sick drug pushing perverts should take their own drugs!
