A male with a thick Indian accent called from this number. Told me some mumbo-jumbo about viruses on my computer and he wanted me to sit at my computer so he could walk me through the problem and fix it over the phone. Obviously some type of scam. He hung up on me once I told him "ain't nobody got time for dat!"
Told me something was wrong with my pc. I asked them how they knew, I went on a tirade and started screaming that they invaded my pc and wifi. I mentioned calling the cops and fcc and fbi, etc. then I hung up and had a good laugh. Stupid scammers.
Just received a call from 212-077-1263, went straight to vm. I have Call Blacker & Mr. Number on my phone, no one gets thru on my phone, unless they are in my contacts. I urge you to get a program like this, and these fools won't be bothering you.
Some Indian guy who called himself Mark told me that I downloaded a program that could potentially be damaging to my computer. I repeated the words "IT", "computers" and "yes" with a (terrible) Spanish accent in response to every question and statement they made. I was then transferred to a "Senior Technician" who received the same treatment. After approximately three minutes of this conversation they hung up.
Some Indian guy said there was something wrong with my computer when I send out emails. I told him that there's nothing wrong with my computer and to stop calling my house. Also asked to speak to his supervisor and that got me nowhere. Asked to be put on a "do not call list", and they called my house back 5 times in a row. Finally let it go to voice mail and they stopped calling. Hope they sleep well at night during this Christmas season.....
