A call from this L.A. VOIP number arrived today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message. This is typical of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who use automated dialers to place calls.
According to this and other websites, the caller purports to offer a "free" cruise. This is one of many scams desperately seeking to separate victims from their hard-earned money, even on Labor Day!
DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM. DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.
they called, they did not leave a message. Typical Scammer / Criminal MO. Real people or businesses leave messages for people to call back. Criminals / Scammers refuse to leave messages because then Law Enforcement could find them easier.
