A call from this L.A. VOIP number arrived today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message. This is typical of robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) who use automated dialers to place calls.
According to this and other websites, the caller purports to offer a "free" cruise. This is one of many scams desperately seeking to separate victims from their hard-earned money, even on Labor Day!
DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM. DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.
this number called today labor day left no message, looks to be third or fourth number from los angeles 213 area code and 626 area code to call my cell phone, internet research says maybe a cruise scam......thank goodness for call reject list on phone but i still like to break their freaking legs.
