I received a call from 213 - 505 - 3111 today. I called the number back got this recording too late to participate in survey. strange they ask me if I did not want to be bothered press number 2, or just hang up. I've heard of numbers like this calling in asking me to press a number and when you do the number connects you with someone else. I'm not playing tbeir games I just hung up you'd be wise to do the same. check out the number and it said to be a survey. it came from west compton california sounds iffy. just thought I'd share what I found out about this number 213 - 505 - 3111
The recording said I'd been "carefully chosen" for a 30-second political survey, for which I "will receive" a free cruise. They must choose us extraordinarily carefully for this to be a sustainable model for gauging public opinion.
Earlier this afternoon I received a call from this number; no message left. Just now the number showed up again, but this time on my CELL phone. Who the h--- ARE these bozos and how are they getting cell phone numbers? I thought the Do Not Call list prohibited these people from calling a cell phone. I haven't given my cell number to anyone except family and few selected, trustworthy friends. It's disgusting.
