Just called it back, got a message saying that a "specialist will be with you shortly" and then the call hung up. I called it again and the same thing happened. Have no idea who it is.
They called 8 times in 3 hours. Once within 2 minutes of each other. It is Credit One and I always pay the balance in full. I have put a complain to FTC. I answer the call 7 times no one is there. The eight time I got a live person and gave him a ear full because payment was set up on line for the next day and that was scheduled 5 days ago. I told the representative that I was put in a complaint as it is borderline harassment. I told him this was a very poor representation of his company I as also putting in a complaint in the Better Business Bureau
They called me 5 times today. Caller ID says LOS ANGELES. Think it is credit one bank as they always call around this time of month although I pay my bill by bank autopay several days before the due date of 4th of every month to get around their deceptive website which holds payments made until AFTER the due date then slaps you with a $35.00 late fee! Their website has been down for several weeks so I can't look at my account to see if indeed they are trying to say I didn't pay on time. I learned the hard way, by making payments on line that this is their usual tactics so I switched to the security of my checking account autopay feature which proves my bank make payment 10 days prior to the due date! Bank records don't lie & I always make more than minimum payment due...for instance if they say min payment due is $25.00 I pay $75.00 . Since I'm on to them & they call via robot dialing, I finally answered the phone today (I was sleeping the 4 other times they started calling at 7:02 am-10:30 am) I said hello several times & no one replied so I started to hang up when I heard a female say "good day" but it was too late, i already started to hang up so they can't call me back today! Whew! This bank is whack & should be investigated!
