Satan never sleeps!! Received yet another call from these evil doers out preying upon whomever gives them a moment! This time the call came in under the alias of Tech Plaza # (214)446-4608. Man with an Indian accent claimed he was from Windows support and was calling me due to the error messages he (they) have received from my computer. These kind of calls are coming in with more frequency!! Something needs to be done! What ever happened to the "Do Not Call List"? I'm sure that's only for legit company's and where this IS a scam it doesn't apply. Nevertheless, I'm tired of my privacy being invaded by these jerks who will relentlessly keep calling ...and at all hours!
Female - heavy foreign accent - said I had downloaded malicious software and wanted access to my computer. She'd fix it for me. MAJOR SCAM! Where's Eric Holder when you need him?
Like many above, we received a call from Tech Plaza, 214-446-4608. Didn't answer, and it went to our voicemail, but they didn't leave a message. Another number to add to our blocked calls list!
Just got a call from 214-446-4608. told me my computer was sending out spam mail to their server. Wanted to sit at my computer and start it up. Laffs I was already on the computer working. She wanted me to do this and that. I told her that all my computers were Apple products. She then ask did I have any notebooks, laptops, tablets or smart phone. "Lady, I told you ALL of my computer internet products are Apple (not). " Well then I can't help you sir and hung up...
Definitely a SCAM. Female with Indian accent telling me that I am having problems with my computer. At first I thought it was tech support from a legitimate company that we deal with, but I SOON realized this was not the case. She was talking so fast that I told her so slow down so I could understand her. She kept on and on. I told her I was too busy to talk. She wanted to call back in an hour, then in 30 minutes. I hung up, and came to the sight to report this scam. I love the one who told the guy to F*** off. My sentiments exactly.
Received the same call others reported from a man claiming to be tech support wanting to clean up my computer since it was sending out malicious data, Wife received same call earlier this week. We both told him no thanks and hung up. Blocked future calls.
