Satan never sleeps!! Received yet another call from these evil doers out preying upon whomever gives them a moment! This time the call came in under the alias of Tech Plaza # (214)446-4608. Man with an Indian accent claimed he was from Windows support and was calling me due to the error messages he (they) have received from my computer. These kind of calls are coming in with more frequency!! Something needs to be done! What ever happened to the "Do Not Call List"? I'm sure that's only for legit company's and where this IS a scam it doesn't apply. Nevertheless, I'm tired of my privacy being invaded by these jerks who will relentlessly keep calling ...and at all hours!
Caller with foreign accent said he was "from the computer maintenance department." I told him I was on the Do Not Call list, and it was illegal for him to make the call, and hung up on him. Not certain what the scam is, but it's a scam.
Received a call from these idiots today. I hope that no one falls for these obvious scammers. I hope that they finally get shut down at some point and have to pay hefty fines!
Received a call from Tech Support regarding my pc generating error messages that they could correct. I played along and tied "Steve" up for almost 45 minutes.He wanted me to go to tplaza.info and download a file that would correct all my problems. Got all pissed off and hung up when I informed him I am a certified Microsoft Network Administrator.Oh well, I.m retired and it was fun.Best part was wasting 45 minutes of "Steve's" time.
ID....says ...TECH PLAZA....thick foreign accent and he knew my name....and asked about my computer...at that point I told him not to call again and hung up! It is the scammers out to take your money!!!
