Received a collect call today from this # and it asked for a credit card # stating it was a collect call from my sons friend. It has my sons friend voice on it. I knew he was going to Texas so I thought something was wrong and input my cc # but the system said it was declined which it shouldn't been. Now I am afraid that was a big mistake. Called the number back and answering message that the call couldnt be completed.
Someone called me from this number and said that it my mom calling collect and would I like to pay for the call with a credit card. My mom recently had her identity stolen so I knew it was bogus. Someone please tell me how we can have this person arrested.
MY DH is in Utah where there is no cell service. He called me from a pay phone from a little podunk town gas station. He called me direct using coinage, so I tend to believe that it is a generic number for pay phones all over, but collect calls received appear to be from prisons/jails/rehabs all over the nation...Obviously, because of this site, I won't be accepting ANY collect calls from this number.
I called my sister from a pay phone outside my apartment and this number came up on her phone but the first phone i used was broken and she coould not hear me talking so i called on the second phone and it was the same telephone number but a different phone and i live in Virginia so we decided to see what the zip code was.
