These people have been hounding me several times a day. But they never leave a message on my answering machine. If I don't recognize the phone number (never a name on caller ID) I let the call go to my answering machine. They have been calling me on Sunday mornings waking me up. I've also gotten calls from them as late as 9:45 PM. I'm getting very tired of this. Isn't there SOMETHING that can be done to get them to stop harrasseing people?
CitiMortgage bought our mortgage. Shortly after we got a call for a card we've never owned. Since this company is owned by Citi I think they do a generic search by name and see what comes up and hope to bully the person on the other end into paying for something that may either be out of range (7-10 years) or just not theirs, as in our case. Call your elected officials and complain about this hounding if it is not you and they will not stop.
caller asking for someone else. when i told them they had the wrong number(they called my cell) they then asked," Isn't this the McDonald residence?" I explained again that they had the wrong number, they were calling the cell phone of someone NOT with the name of whom they were looking for and I hung up.
Also receiving daily calls from Academy, from an Angela Buldger. 1800 441 6881 is the number she left on my voicemail, but the caller ID is the same as many of you folks. They're not even looking for me, but when I answer they hang up...just wish they'd go away.
