Have gotten repeated calls over many days, sometimes half a dozen times per day, wanting to "verify my business information". I've hung up on them, told them not to call again, threatened them, talked nasty to their female callers (and some of their male callers too), and yet they still call. The caller ID just says "PENNSYLVANIA".
The only recourse is to mess with these people. Female callers get treated as if they had called a sex chat line, some male callers too. It gets them seriously off script, and different callers have different responses! Eventually they'll hang up, but will call again with a new person. It's a dog of a job for these folks making calls for this scammer. Make it even worse for them so they'll quit and find more rewarding employment.
They claim to be called "Green Certification" where you automatically have a free business listing with them that they have to update. If you are not the owner, they say you are the owners assistant or administrator to make you responsible for what they are really trying to sell you. They insist the listing is free, but they have to record all your information. "Alice" said to go to "search-green.net" to find their web site. I did, but we were not listed and there was no information as to what type of business they were!
