I just received a call from this number. As a matter of practice, when I receive a call from ANY number that I do not recognize, I do not answer, and Google the number regardless of whether or not the caller leaves a voice mail.
When I called back, the caller identified herself as "Rosemary," and that her agency handled credit card applications and other "services" for several large financial instituions. I told her that the financial institutions that I deal with do not rely on third-party services and do not contact me by phone.
I also informed her that I believed her call was an attempt at identity theft and that I will report it to my financial insitutions as wel as other agencies.
