Just got a call from them. Didn't pick up since I didn't recognize the number. But whomever these people are are still at it! I'm really glad I didn't pick up now that I have read these posts.
Too bad they can't execute people for these types of scams. From the number of complaints, not enough people are reporting it or the government is slow or unwilling to take action.
Caller claimed to be from Bank of America. Would only speak to my husband. She gave the following number for him to call 1-800-432-1050. Our caller Id listed this number 216-545- 8326. I will call BoA with this info.
Number showed up on caller ID today. I never answer unknown numbers, always assuming that if it is important they will leave a message. No message, and based on comments here, glad I didn't answer. Thank you all for leaving your info here.
