These fools called me at 3:42PM 1/4/08 (residential line) - I've had about 15 calls from them over the past few months. Filed complaints with the donotcall.gov site on all of them, FCC on some of them, and also filed complaints w/my State's Atty General (IL). It's generally ILLEGAL in Illinois to use a pre-recorded message for telemarketing - if they want to play a pre-recorded message, a human has to ask the called party first, then kick off the message...
So this BS where they call w/a pre-recorded message, is not gonna fly...
I just finished complaining to donotcall.gov, and I'm filing another complaint with the FCC and IL AG in a few minutes... Sick of these fools...
All telemarketers calling any #'s on the donotcall list should be strung up by their toenails and beaten with sticks in the town square as a warning against other violators...
I didn't answer but they left a message. A quick online search revealed they are a scam company. Also 866-310-9662 and 914-674-9580, goes as both Small Business Network and business Brokers Worldwide. Ignore them!
Same stuff as the rest of you, but I'm getting even. I open Word and make a short document that just says "Honor your Do Not Call List". Then I FAX it to them at their toll free nuber 10 or so times (you can o it to their 216 # as well). I also set my Fax modem to 99 re-tries (Control panel, Fax, Properties, devices, properties) There is no fax machine there so it keeps trying over and over again. Leave your speaker on so you can hear them grunt in disgust. It definitely gets em PO'd. It will keep doing it for 99 times for each fax you send... Stops their call center in it's tracks. If everyone did this it would put them out of business. It's a toll free number so you run up their bill too. Besides.. it's so funny to hear them yell "STOP CALLING"!
