Received the exact call as others have reported. Left a voicemail calling me by a totally different name. Called back to say the person referenced in the voicemail had not been notified, as I have had my number for fifteen years. Guy was very rude and abrupt, only saying my name had been removed from their call list! Ya think?
Your caller is a scammer trying to scare you into paying a bogus debt, a debt that's already been paid, or even a debt that is owed - but not to the caller. If you had an overdrawn bank account, you'd have heard about from your bank at that time. Block their calls and report these losers to your states attorney General and the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau.
Left a Robot VM saying that they have tried to get in touch with me and I have not answered them, therefore I will be served at my place of business.....really....come on over idiots, I work from home.......call me again and the joke will be on you....I have contacted the local authorities and they already have had numerous complaints on these jack***es.
I got this call twice today and once yesterday but yesterday's call came from a different telephone number. I am reporting them to the FCC and refuse to answer again today. I did call the number that called me yesterday and they claim I owe money to some credit card company and told me that the conversation was being recorded so that some judge can hear what I have to say.
This appears to be still another version of the “Looks like fraudulent activity” scammers. Also use Inktel as a CID.
