A recording calling for a former coworker at our place of business. He said since that person hasn't contacted them about their overdue account they will be calling their home and work. Then he said a bunch of account numbers and some other bs.
This sounded to me like a bottom feeder debt buyer or an out and out liar. Caller ID said unknown.
Whatever, I wouldn't take these criminals seriously.
I received this call about two or three time back to back about the I have to claims process. He will show up at my home/work, where do these people get our number from. There are crazy. I wish they stop calling people with this s***t.
We received another call like the 1st one I posted about on 11/10. I see they have been busy little scammers. They do not have the right to call you at your place of business if you tell them not to. But since it is a recording you can't tell them! I would be wary of calling them back, if they are zombie collectors they may be able to say you called them & restart the clock on the debt. I think they may hope to trick people in this manner.
I have been sued for debt & this is not the procedure in which a legit company operates. They must file papers in court and a process server will come to your home and give them to you. It's not a big deal. You can check with the courts in your city/county if you are unsure. Don't fall for their tricks and intimidation! They are the criminals, not you.
Several calls have been received and ignored for someone who has never liver here in the 22 years I have owned the home, Today I'd had it so I pushed the phone key as instructed. When someone answered, I said, "I need to inform you that I am taping this call". The woman said, "Then I need to inform you I am hanging up." I guess that says it all. It will be interesting to see if this stops the calls! :0) This seems to happen every couple of years. I've tried explaining in the past that they have the wrong number. It then stops for a while. Each time it's a bit different approach. I don't ever remember it saying Akron, Ohio before. I do recognize the Goldman and Associates title mentioned in the previous mail though that was not said today. I really hate these calls but I also don't want to pay to block them. Scumbags sent me the same msg last week nothing happened I owe no one anything they can bite my &@$ I should never give anyone over the phone any info they just want to steal my millions I made the money I made the cash u will never give it away to some assclown from India
