I just received a call from this number, I thought it might be my credit card bank call me. When I hit 1 the operator came on and when I asked is this a sales call or a call from my current backing bank he lied and said it was. When he started the sales pitch I interuppted him to say this is a sales pitch and I am not interested. He then said "you are a [***] idiot" and hung up
Yet another recorded call from "Rachael" using yet another bogus telephone number offering to reduce credit card rates. These people have been operating since at least Dec 11, 2011 when I started keeping a record of all their calls. Each one has been reported to the DNC but as we know, that does absolutely no good. Maybe if enough people were to contact their elected people in Congress, maybe Congress would put some teeth into this law.
I use OOMA for my phone now, they allow you to enter numbers to call block. The telemarketers get through once with each new number. Also, you can tell OOMA to use their SPAM list. if they have collected enough blocks for a number from other users they will block the call before you ever get it.
